Ilma is a portrait of a woman that blends draped fabric, light and movement.
Ilma is a name meaning ‘air’ and ‘lightness’ in Finnish, and ‘inner light’ or ‘knowledge’ in Arabic. In the folds of her turban and the petals, worries fade away. The breeze, her accomplice, lends her its lightness.
